Ahmeti Purchased a Five-Story Building in the Center of Tetovo?

Political tensions in North Macedonia are increasing following new allegations related to party assets and ongoing debates over language rights.

Recent public discussions have focused on claims that the political party DUI has significantly expanded its property holdings in recent years. According to opposition representatives, concerns have been raised about the acquisition of a multi-story building at center of Tetovo, reportedly covering a large area and located in a highly valuable urban zone.

Critics argue that while public attention is often directed toward issues such as the use of the Albanian language in institutions, there are unresolved questions regarding financial transparency and property ownership. They claim that these matters deserve equal public scrutiny.

The debate has intensified ahead of announced protests related to the use of the Albanian language in judicial examinations. Political groups have accused each other of using sensitive topics to gain political advantage, further deepening divisions.

Additional allegations have also resurfaced regarding past cases connected to the telecommunications sector. Observers note that earlier legal proceedings abroad mentioned several political figures, which continues to fuel political narratives and public debate today. However, no new legal conclusions have been announced in relation to these past cases.

Supporters of the ruling structures reject the accusations, while opposition groups are calling for greater accountability and transparency. They are demanding clear answers regarding property ownership, acquisition processes, and any potential links to past controversies.
