A new grouping of vehicle importers has been established in North Macedonia, bringing together key players from the automotive sector with the aim of strengthening cooperation and addressing common industry challenges.
The initiative comes at a time when the automotive market is experiencing significant growth, with rising sales and increasing competition among importers. According to industry analyses, leading companies in the sector have recorded substantial revenues and profits in recent years, driven by higher demand, improved operational efficiency, and stabilized import costs.
The newly formed group is expected to focus on improving market conditions, enhancing dialogue with institutions, and advocating for policies that support sustainable development of the automotive industry. It will also aim to address issues such as regulatory frameworks, taxation, and the transition toward greener mobility solutions.
Industry experts note that collaboration among importers could contribute to a more transparent and competitive market, ultimately benefiting both businesses and consumers. The move is also seen as a step toward aligning the domestic automotive sector with European standards and trends.
The formation of this group reflects the growing importance of the vehicle import sector in the country’s economy, where leading companies generate hundreds of millions of euros in annual turnover and play a significant role in employment and economic activity.
