The “Frosina Kulakova” Foundation, in collaboration with the “Izet Curi” Fashion Institute, announces an open call for applications for the “Frosina Kulakova” Fashion Design Scholarship, intended for young and talented candidates from the Republic of North Macedonia who have an interest and potential to develop in the field of fashion.
The scholarship provides full funding for studies, as well as the opportunity to participate in the Foundation’s activities, depending on its needs and capacities. This enables the selected candidate to gain additional practical exposure and support in their professional development. The goal of the program is to encourage a new generation of fashion designers and support the development of creative potential in the country.
Eligible applicants are candidates who have completed secondary education, are citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, and demonstrate a clear interest and affinity for fashion design. As part of the application, candidates are required to submit a fashion project in the form of a mini collection, which should include:
- a mood board with inspiration,
- a color and textile chart,
- technical drawings (front and back view),
- and six complete looks presented through colored fashion illustrations.
All visual materials must be compiled into a single PDF document. The cover page should include the candidate’s full name, the title of the collection, the selected season (Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer), and the year.
Additionally, candidates must submit:
- a concept explanation (up to 30 lines),
- a CV (resume),
- and a motivation letter,
all in Word format.
All submitted applications will be reviewed by a professional committee, which will evaluate creativity and originality, clarity of concept, visual consistency, and the candidates’ potential for further development.

The call was announced on April 1, 2026, and the application deadline is June 10, 2026, at 23:59. The evaluation process will take place from June 11 to June 20, 2026, while the announcement of the selected candidate is scheduled for June 25, 2026.
