Donald Trump said that Iran is expected to return to the negotiating table and could eventually agree to key US demands.
In an interview with Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Trump stated that American negotiators had already secured “almost everything we needed,” except for Iran’s refusal to abandon its nuclear ambitions.
Trump emphasized that Iran has not withdrawn from the negotiations and expressed confidence that discussions will resume.
“I believe they will come back and give us what we want,” he said, suggesting that further diplomatic engagement remains likely.
During the same interview, Trump also issued a warning to China, indicating that the United States could impose tariffs of up to 50 percent if Beijing were to support Iran militarily.
The statement highlights ongoing geopolitical tensions and the broader implications of the negotiations beyond the immediate US-Iran relationship.
Trump also commented on global energy markets, predicting that oil and gas prices could decline once the current tensions are resolved.
Analysts note that developments in the region continue to influence market stability, with energy prices closely tied to geopolitical events.
